So I wanted to have the Aetherial Crown, and so I made it through all of the Lost to the Ages quest. When I got to the forge and got rid of the steam, nothing spawned and I was stuck in combat. I have no red dots in my compass. I have no clue what to do, so any help would be awesome. EDIT: I have been looking for any solutions for about 30 min.

I'm having issues with the lost to the ages quest. I have reset to a previous save. Fast traveled away. Waited days. And the quest still says to stand clear. At first the tower never came up and after fast traveling away and coming back its there but there's no lift or door or anything. Katria just keeps saying go ahead give it a try. If you follow the road that leads from Western Watchtower to Rorikstead, there are about 7 world interaction points along that journey. If he doesn't appear during that trip, take the road again the next day. If you've completed Lost to the Ages, you shouldn't have to travel that road too much to encounter him.
